Guru Purnima is the day to commemorate the importance of Guru (teacher). Guru is worshipped on this holy day. According to the Hindu calender, this day falls on Purnima Tithi (full moon day) in the month of Ashadha. Guru is the person, who shows the right path and enlighten us with knowledge and who brings us out to the light from the darkness.Guru can be the one, who teaches the Life's lesson, that can be your father, mother and even your elder siblings.
