PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

‘Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving’.

ABS Vidhyaalayaa, Thiruvallur celebrated Parents Day on July 22nd, 2023 to honour the parents and appreciate their efforts in bringing up their children. The day began with a prayer to invoke God to shower each parent with abundant blessings for a long, happy and healthy life. The teachers made the students realise the commitment and sacrifice their parents put in everyday, towards bringing them up in a safe environment and in nurturing their lives. Students expressed their love and gratitude towards their parents in melodious songs, gave emotional speeches reflecting the depth of gratitude that they owe to their parents for the manifold responsibilities, sacrifices and challenges they face daily in giving only the best to their children. They also expressed that they were truly blessed to be born in an amazing family and surprised their parents with a small gift. This was followed by a cake cutting. Parents got really emotional & shed happy tears watching their kids put up a beautiful show for them and blessed them.

The celebration ended on a happy note with both the parents and the children promising to be there for one another always.
